A collaboration with the University of Leicester and the Joe Orton Estate, this project is a website celebrating the hilarious letters of the legendary playwright. Comprising of a series of letters in the style of Edna Welthorpe, Joe Orton’s alter ego famed for her scathing reviews of contemporary life, written by celebrities including Alec Baldwin, Jesse Armstrong and Arthur Matthews. The project also runs a competitions for students every year, sponsored by the late Vivienne Westwood.
